Dreaming of the Life Unlived: Intimate Stories and Portraits of Women Without Children is 6 years old today, where has the time gone???
I remember when she was conceived. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in London, I was amongst my fellow GW sisters on the plan B mentorship programme when I suddenly jumped and shouted “I am going to write a book”. This was met with excited cheers from the group and anxious doubt from my inner bitch. What was I doing, I didn’t know how to write a book. I had no idea how I was going to do this.
7 years on and my baby has accomplished things that I would not have imagined, she was such a joy to create and thanks to the women who graciously and bravely shared their stories, she has touched the hearts of others all over the world.
Today I celebrate all that my baby is, all the hearts that she has touched and all that she has yet to become. Thank you all for being a part of my journey and celebrating with me today.
For those of you who haven’t ready Dreaming of a Life Unlived, you can get a copy from Amazon and blurb (ebook)
