I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be speaking at (Mis)Conceptions: Fertile Histories, a unique day of creative workshops, talks, and spoken word exploring the complex tapestry of (in)fertility and women’s health through a historical lens.
š
When: Saturday, January 25th, 2025
š Where: The (Mis)Conceptions Fertility Fortunes Exhibition, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation – Holborn
The day begins at 10am with the opening of the incredible Fertility Fortunes exhibition, featuring stunning original artworks by the talented Anna Burel. From 11am, immerse yourself in a program of artist-led workshops and talks that challenge misconceptions about the past, delve into the present-day realities of (in)fertility, and consider how these shape our futures.
We’ll also reflect on the experience of time during the uncertainty of trying to conceive, where hopes and fears tangle with life’s timelines.
Iām honoured to be part of this interdisciplinary team of researchers, artists, and storytellers bringing these important conversations to life.
Join us for a day of connection, learning, and creativity! šØāØ
